Work nature
Develop, implement and monitor environmental health and safety programs to reduce environmental risk/incidents, prevent work-related injuries/illnesses and ensure compliance with government regulations. Coordinate with Engineering organizations and Operations Management in assessment of EH&S risks, revise production processes to minimize hazards to the employees and mitigate exposure to environmental risk. Works closely with site personnel and management to ensures work place conditions comply with applicable international, national and local occupational safety and health regulations. Investigate safety concerns/incidents and makes recommendations on corrective actions. This job requires an incumbent to independently coordinate programs, often managing and/or escalation issues at the Division level and working with senior Jabil staff and EHS government officials independently with little or no Jabil management staff input.
