DIPLOMA IN FIRE DESIGN ENGINEER
RULES / REGULATIONS AND SYLLABUS
This course will be a broad introduction to the components, concepts and design/code applications of fire protection and alarm systems. The participants will get an overview of various fire protection equipment and alarm systems manufacturers and types, governing codes and standards, residential/commercial / healthcare applications, design and application of fire protection equipment and fire alarm equipment, fire protection equipment and alarm systems operations and control, installation and approval, maintenance and testing.
MEP engineering sector is growing very fast in the world. High-rise buildings are everywhere. Fire protection systems must be designed very accurately for these buildings, this course is for all MEP engineers, Students and any people who are interested in fire safety.
This course will teach you about fire protection design procedures and how to do calculations. and you can find an example calculation sheet from a material section.
The Programme of Study Duration:
The duration of the programme of study is 1 year.
Students shall complete the programme within a period of 1 year from the month of admission and the programme will comprise the subjects given in regulations.
Medium of Instruction:
English will be the medium of instruction for the programme.

10th pass in any stream or Equivalent.
12th pass or fail in any stream or Equivalent.
